RaiseUp User Agreement

Welcome to RaiseUp! This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the RaiseUp platform, including all applications, content, and features provided by RaiseUp, LLC (“RaiseUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RaiseUp platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this Agreement. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Overview of Services

RaiseUp is a vacation rental platform that connects travelers with property owners.

Travelers can search, book, and securely pay for stays.

Property owners can list their rentals, manage availability, and receive payments for confirmed bookings.

3. User Responsibilities

Account Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
Compliance: You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement and applicable laws.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities on your account. Please report any unauthorized access immediately.

4. Specific Obligations of Property Owners

Calendar Accuracy: Owners must keep their calendars up to date.

Acceptance of Bookings: Once a traveler confirms and pays for a booking, the owner is obligated to honor it.

Consequences of Unjustified Refusal: If an owner refuses or cancels a confirmed booking while the property was listed as available, RaiseUp may apply measures such as:

Withholding part or all of the payout for the canceled booking.

Temporary or permanent suspension of the owner’s account.

Marking the property with a “canceled reservation” notice visible to travelers.

Blocking the Calendar: Owners have the option to block dates when the property is unavailable to prevent unwanted bookings.

5. Confidentiality on Social Media

It is prohibited to share or publish confidential or proprietary information about RaiseUp, its services, or its users without prior authorization. Any violation may result in sanctions, including account termination.

6. Fees and Payments

For property owners: Using the RaiseUp platform is free. No listing or subscription fees apply.

Transaction fee: A 2% transaction fee is applied on each booking payment, processed securely via Stripe.

For travelers: Service fees may be added to the booking price to cover platform operating costs.

All applicable fees will be clearly communicated before any payment activity.

7. Termination

RaiseUp reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of non-compliance with this Agreement, harmful activity, or violations of the law.

8. Privacy

9. Limitation of Liability

RaiseUp will not be held liable for indirect losses or damages arising from the use of our platform, except where required by law.

10. Changes to the Agreement

RaiseUp may update this Agreement at any time. Updates will be communicated through our website and by email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of this State.

12. Withdrawal Process and Compliance

Onboarding Requirement: Withdrawals require completing an onboarding process through Stripe, our payment processor.

KYC and AML Procedures: Stripe will implement Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures to ensure legal compliance.

User Cooperation: Users must provide accurate information during onboarding, or withdrawals may be delayed or denied.

Data Protection: All information collected for this purpose is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Stripe’s compliance standards.
